because there are lights in the eyeball & a dangling push-button, but the eyes don't light up. I don't desire to undress the figure or disassemble the button to learn if there is simply a need for a new battery. Odds are that I don't have the proper battery anyway & the attempt would all be a futile waste of my time. Sorry, but truthful.
Supposed to self-stand (& does!), but would benefit from attachment to a stick (if displayed in a yard), etc. because a strong wind could blow him over. the plastic bridge between both feet is broken off one shoe, but that doesn't seem to affect the stance any. No major flaws.
