These coins are notorious for having weak strikes. Therefore, I am uncertain of the grade. It is an AU58/MS63 coin from the US MINT in San Francisco, California.
This design was only minted in 1944 & 1945 at a time when the Philippines were a "Protectorate" of the United States.
There is the beginning of some amazing rainbow and gold toning throughout the fields of both sides.
There are two varieties for this year and this is a Type 2.
My notes say I found a die chip, but I can't find it again. Lol
