What a great find! This listing is for a folk art/outsider style inspired wooden cutout couple. Their garb is pilgrim/farmer style and their features are quite primitive. I just love their aloof facial expressions. The whole setup/atmosphere reminds me of the American Classic painting to some degree,
The figures measure roughly 16 ½ x 5 x 1 3/8”. There is a built in shallow "step" in the middle section of each figure. It would allow them to rest on a ledge, but they probably would not be terribly stable. :) The execution of both pieces is quite rustic.
