This round travel luggage case is the Munro Magazine Girl Hat Box. Made of sturdy faux leather with a blue tweed design & trimmed with navy blue faux leather around edging of lid with rows of beige double stitching. Has sturdy top handle in navy blue faux leather held on by antique brass hardware & four antique brass peg feet on bottom. Interior & lid completely lined in vibrant plaid fabric with deep gathered pocket in lid & ecru colored Munro fabric tag in brown lettering attached to interior lid. Dimensions are 16.5”L, 7”W, 21”H standing with handle, 5”D. Munro produced these beautiful hat box luggage cases in 1950’s & this one is in wonderful vintage antique condition. Few faint markings on exterior & handle shows wear. No cracks, stains, no markings on trim, stitching is firm. Interior in beautiful condition with just two pin hole markings near label. No rips, tears, stains, uplifted areas or odors. See photos. Truly lovely & perfect hat box for traveling & to display beautifully.
