This is a figure of a badger made by the Lomonosov factory in USSR. Wonderful shiny glaze and a smooth clean shape, so tactile. Each piece is hand painted so no two animals are the same. USSR animals are becoming increasingly collectable. There was a USSR backstamp on the base but unfortunately it has worn off over time although there is a bit of red where the writing was. In excellent vintage condition. It measures approximately 5ins (12.5cms) in length.
