Vintage Native American Liquid Silver Bovine Bone Disc Choker Length Necklace. Beautiful mix of small silver beads and bone disc beads. Liquid silver is a term used to describe several strands of small silver beads held together to create a fluid-looking piece. It is created by slicing tubes of Sterling Silver and then stringing them together carefully. This type of jewelry is often also known as liquid heishi or silver heshi.
Unmarked, but definitely vintage. Most likely from the 1970s or 1980s. Measures approximately 14.75”. Some patina, which adds a lovely vintage bohemian look to it.
