Vintage 1999 Time Out magazine wraparound Sony Walkman 20th Anniversary Edition

Vintage & Original 1999 Time out Magazine Sony Walkman 20th Anniversary supplement double page wraparound cover circa October 1999. A fantastic example of 20th Century popular culture advertising. This is the original double page wrap over cover that was wrapped around an edition of Time Out magazine circa October 1999. The Time Out edition was titled “London’s guide to the Walkman” The size of the wraparound is approx. A3 size which folded around the magazine and converted into 2 x A4 size pages approx. Item is printed on both sides Laid out flat on one side, which is the front and back pages of the wraparound, there are 37 images of different Sony Walkman models spanning from 1979 to 1999 and includes Compact Cassette Walkman to Mini Disc Walkman. On the inside there is a doble page feature titled “Saluting 20 years of Japanese technology at its most elemental” plus a history of the Walkman from its invention in 1979 to the launch of the new Walkman technology which incorporated the Sony memory stick. Overall: the item is in good clean condition considering its age, It has been kept stored in the folded A4 position and has only a few small creases or marks (see pictures for condition of edges, staple area and spine). No original packaging and does not come with the magazine, this is the wraparound only. Item comes from a smoke free and pet free environment A fantastic example of 20th century popular culture technology advertising. Laid out flat this is item would look great framed on the wall.
