A beautiful vintage mid century brooch with a luminous molded art glass cabochon center that is black in the center and has molded iridescent roses around the border, much like carnival glass! Set into a silver tone metal filigree ornate frame and closes with a safety clasp pin backing, and also has a hidden bale so it can be worn as a pendant on a necklace. Appears to be a Western Germany piece based on the style and glass but can't confirm based on the markings.
Marked with letters "WG mA" on the back, nice condition. The glue used to set the cabochon is slightly visible around the edges, not noticeable when worn. Measures just over 2".
