Tsumugi fabric bolt with vertical stripe pattern - Kimono a

This is an unused, unsewn bolt of kimono fabric.

It's a紬 (tsumugi) fabric with a slightly rough weave and vertical stripes.

From a distance, it appears to be a dark reddish-brown color, but looking closely at the edge of the fabric, you can see that navy-colored threads are used in the warp. It has a chambray-like, deep color that changes depending on the angle.

Depending on the angle, the color in the fourth image appears closest to the actual color on my screen.

There are no noticeable flaws at first glance, and it's in relatively good condition.

I checked about 1 meter of the fabric, but I haven't checked the rest, so there may be some flaws inside. Please understand this before purchasing, as I'm offering it at a lower price.

How about using it luxuriously for handmade crafts or remaking projects? I personally make kimono remake clothes with Western tailoring, and it's much easier to start with a bolt of fabric because you don't have to disassemble a kimono.

Bolts of fabric will generally be shipped folded small after removing the core.
