Antique English Historical flow blue plate of the Battle of Plattsburg, NY in 1814 by Wood & Sons. The plate commemorates Commodore Thomas MacDonough's victory over the British on Lake Champlain .
Cool Story about plate on back.
Please note that Commodore MacDonnough's name on the plate has two "n's" and not one.
This plate measures 9.25" in diameter.
There is crazing and aging throughout the plate, but no chips or nicks or cracks.
Plate is approx. 1 lb. Will be double boxed for extra protection.
