RARE 1936 Berlin Olympics Torch Bearer Bisque Oil Lamp Statue, in Excellent condition although missing the little flame (which many of these are - it’s just one of those things that sadly falls out), but there are no chips, cracks, stains, or crazing! Please refer carefully to pics.
Description
A souvenir from the 1936 Olympic Games. Statue is made out of fine white bisque, the base bears the Olympic Rings, is numbered on the underneath side of the base and in his right hand the runner holds the torch that is carried into the stadium. A genuine Third Reich artifact, sold as a souvenir in Berlin during the 1936 Olympic Games. This piece has an attribution mark
