This Art Deco marcasite brooch features faceted pyrite set in sterling silver. The monogram is "RCW". There's a patent number and "Sterling" on the back. The patent no. is hard to read. Based on the design, however, this piece is from 1925-1940, known as the Art Deco period. Size: 1½ in. wide x 1¼ in. high. It is in very good condition.
NOTE: So, your initials aren't "RCW"? Not to worry, tell everyone the letters stand for "Real (Clever/ Capable/ Captivating / Chic) Woman"!
