** This is a contemporary piece, Jet by European Designer, Envelope 1976 It melds multiple eras: 80s structured shoulders, flapper fringe, thigh-high asymmetrical fringe beaded hem that is scalloped as are the sleeves, and keyhole neck and back.
The shell and lining are 100% silk. Heavily beaded, weighing nearly 2.5 Lbs.
The dress is in wonderful condition. I doubt it's been worn more than once. I've identified one missing bead.
