Authentic 1970s Zuni fetish necklace with carved doves from iridescent mother of pearl anchoring brown shell micro beads & unique silver link beads. Zuni fetishes are small carvings made from primarily stone, shells & fossils. Within the Zuni community, these carvings depict animals & icons integral to their culture. The Zuni are Native American Pueblo people from Zuni River Valley, New Mexico.
All fetishes are in excellent condition with no chips or breaks. Secure twist closure. Approximate length: 15 1/2”. You’d be hard pressed to find another exactly like it. Very cool, man.
