EXTREMELY RARE 1930s Edwin Knowles "Gloria" Floral Square Plates 3 SIZES

This set of plates is an extremely rare find. These plates are from 1930 by the Edwin M. Knowles China Co. The plates are from the "Gloria" production line. They are back stamped, S2-7. The plates have a soft ivory background and are decorated around the outer edge with pink flowers, sage green leaves, and pale grey foliage. All plates are framed with a scalloped edge and trimmed in silver.

There are three plate sizes.

6" (diagonal measure) plate. There are three of this size plate. There is very light to moderate crazing on these plates. Glaze is intact on all of these plates.

6 3/4" (diagonal measure) plate. There are six of this size plate. There is moderate to heavy crazing (with browning) within these plates. Glaze is intact on all of these plates.

7 3/4" (diagonal measure) plate. There are five of this plate. There is moderate crazing of these plates, one plate has a 1 cm chip on the edge.

The light and moderate crazing is difficult to capture in photos.
