Product Description

Dechra EicosaDerm, the first hi-potency EPA (Omega-3) product available. Dogs and cats have strict dietary requirements for certain polyunsaturated fatty acids that are important for maintaining skin and hair coat conditions, reproductive function & tissue repair. Omega-3 fatty acids also play an important role in mediating and regulating inflammatory, immune & aggregatory responses within the body. Omega-3 offers considerable potential for disease prevention and in the therapeutic management of a wide variety of clinical disorders.

The fish oils in Dechra’s fatty acids supplements are from small, cold water fish (sardine and anchovy). The oil has been fully refined, deodorized, purified and molecularly distilled. It is tested and certified to be free from pesticides and below testing levels for PCBs and heavy metals, such as lead, arsenic, cadmium and mercury (less than 0.1 parts per million). Tocopherol (Vitamin E) has been added to the fish oil as an antioxidant. Proper storage at room temperature, and away from light, will ensure quality through the expiration date indicated on the product.

Directions for Use 

The recommended daily administration is as follows based on the pet’s weight:

1-10 lbs - 1/2 pump
11-20 lbs - 1 pump
21-40 lbs - 2 pumps
41-60 lbs - 3 pumps
61-80 lbs - 4 pumps

Easily administered by applying directly to the pet’s food.
