Incredibly detailed, posable stockingette wire frame 1:12 scale dolls with mohair wings and hand painted faces by Erna Meyer of Germany. Husband has a bushy, long mustache, and is dressed in a felt jacket, high collared shirt with tie and cotton striped trousers. Wife wears a poly-cotton white and plaid dress with Victorian flounces and lace and lace-trimmed bloomers. Her auburn hair is pulled back in a stylish snood. Clothing is attached, as are their black plastic shoes. Man is 6 inches tall, woman is 5.75 inches tall.
Excellent vintage condition from the 1990s, these are long discontinued models superb for historical dollhouses.
