Looking to their Peruvian and Bavarian heritage, lifelong friends Sabrina Burda and Noelle Pallais were inspired to create Sanoë by rummaging through their grandmothers’ closets. With an eye on slow fashion and the other on contemporary style, the NYC-based brand designs their jackets—based on alpine peasant “trachen jacken”—to stand the test of time in small batches using ethically sourced fabrics. Featuring a flatting cut, the Bettina is cut with a high neck and form-fitting waist. Made in Portugal, this jacket boasts tweed brown and caramel undertones with burgundy velvet detailing.
