Apartamento, the popular magazine that takes a completely different approach from existing, ornate interior design magazines, presents its 11th issue. It introduces the lifestyles of creators from various countries around the world through their living spaces.

⋅ Michael Stipe's office and residence in the Meatpacking District of New York. Stipe, who decided to move from the apartment where Gus Van Sant and Ben Affleck also lived, talks about the terrace overlooking the Hudson River and the memories associated with the interior.

⋅ Apichatpong Weerasethakul, who resides in a village 30 minutes by car from Chiang Mai. His lakeside home, which stands alone in the tropical rainforest and is said to be haunted ("It's helpful that it protects the house"), is a small tropical paradise secluded from the hustle and bustle of the city.

⋅ Hanayo, a photographer, and her daughter Tenko live in a public housing complex in Shibuya. The room, though small, is filled with plants and art pieces, and is full of a Berlin-esque DIY spirit. There is also text by Tenko about life in the public housing complex (like waffles).

⋅ Scheltens & Abbenes, an artist duo highly acclaimed for their works that reconstruct photographic art from a completely new perspective. Their home is a playful and strange space, as if one has wandered into their world of work.
