Up for sale is an Antique Chinese 2-Tier Wedding Basket Wood & Bamboo Woven with brass decorations. It was made pre-1900. There is a brass stick that can be inserted into the lid to keep the basket locked. The top layer is 13" (L) x 7" (W) x 6" (D). There is a removable wooden tray between the 2 layers that measures 1.5" deep. It can be used to store small items. The bottom layer is the same size as the top layer. There are multiple brass pieces with the traditional bat motifs on handle and the corners. They are great decorations and also strengthen the structure of the basket. The entire basket including the handle is 18" tall.
Great condition considering its age. Age appropriate wears. Details shown in the pictures.
