Genuine EMBA AUTUMN HAZE
Natural brown mutation mink
EMBA (East Mutation Mink Breeders Association) brand prominent during 1950’s
All pelts in excellent condition
2 Front deep pockets on outside
1 pocket inside and two straps for the arms to slip through to hold wrap up. Monogram CRB
Damage: Shoulder seams between pelts ripped on out side. Lining inside ripped/shredded threads. (See last 6 photos for damage.)
The mink is in VERY good condition. The inside pelt has not dry rotted.
The lining is satin, quite lovely.
Sold as is for repair or repurposing.
It appears to me it could be repaired; worth it.
EMBA (the EMBA Mink/Mutation Breeders Association) a cooperative mink ranch formalizing in 1942 specialized in mink breeding. Known for breeding natural colors, Autumn Haze is one of their trademarks.
The 2 labels sewn in lining indicates Rich’s/EMBA stole is from the 1950’s.
